Who is responsible

What we collect when you join

Your email address, when you joined, when you confirmed, and which version of this notice applied.

How you found us: the campaign tags in the link you arrived on, and the name of the site that sent you. If a friend referred you, we record that too, and each person's referral code, referral count and place in the queue.

To limit abuse we briefly keep a scrambled, hourly-changing code made from your IP address, deleted within about an hour. We can't turn it back into your address.

The survey

The survey after you join is optional. If you send it, we keep your answers linked to your sign-up: age range, country, number of accounts, your biggest worry about retirement, what else you'd want help with, and whether you'd pay for this.

The calculator

The retirement calculator runs in your browser. We don't receive the numbers you enter. If you copy a link to your results, those numbers are in the link you share.

Why, and our legal basis

To tell you when your early-access spot opens, send a short series of welcome emails, run the queue and referrals, and understand who the product is for. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), which you give by joining and confirming, by sending the survey, and by accepting cookies.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe, or until the early-access programme ends, whichever comes first. Unsubscribing deletes your address and survey answers. If you never confirm, all of it is deleted after 30 days.

Cookies and analytics

Before you choose, this site sets no analytics cookies. We count visits to the landing page per day, with no cookies, identifiers or IP address, so that count can't be linked to you.

If you accept cookies, we load Google Analytics 4, which shows how people find and use the site, and Microsoft Clarity, which records how pages are used, such as clicks and scrolling, with anything you type hidden. Both set cookies and receive your IP address. We also keep the campaign details from your first visit in your browser.

If you decline, neither loads. Your choice is kept in your browser so we don't ask again. You can change it any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of the page. Neither tool loads in the planner, where your own financial numbers are.

Who else handles it

Service providers that act on our instructions: Neon, which stores our database in Frankfurt, Germany; Netlify, which hosts this website and handles each request on servers in the United States; Brevo, which sends our emails; Cloudflare, which runs our domain and forwards email sent to us; and, if you accept cookies, Google and Microsoft. Where data leaves the EU or UK, appropriate safeguards apply.

We never sell your details or share them for anyone else's marketing.

Your rights

You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, which deletes your details straight away, or with Cookie settings for analytics. You can also ask us for access, correction, deletion or a copy of your data at info@retiremenow.co, and you can complain to your data protection authority.
